Nazareth Transport and Tourism Ltd. Company (NT&T) (hereinafter: the “Company“) makes great efforts to protect your information (hereinafter: "you" or "the users") and acts in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, and the regulations thereunder.

The Company’s services are not intended for individuals under the age of majority, and the Company does not knowingly collect personal information about them. Users under the age of 18 must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before submitting any information. Should the Company become aware, whether through direct notification or other means, that a minor has provided personally identifiable information via the Website, the Company will take reasonable measures to delete such information.

The detailed Privacy Policy set out below is written in the masculine form for convenience only.

The purpose of the Privacy Policy document is to explain to users of the Company’s website (hereinafter: the “Site“) and/or the Company’s applications (hereinafter: the “App”), the terms that will apply to the provision and use of personal information through the Website or the App, what is the basis for processing any personal information collected from you through your browsing on our Website or App, for what purpose the information will be used, the manner of disclosing the information provided by you to third parties and the use of “cookies” or files or tags on the Website or App, all as set forth in the following terms:

Your use of the Website or App by registering, browsing, or accessing the Website or App constitutes your confirmation that you have read the Privacy Policy and the Company’s procedures set forth therein, and that you agree that the Company will use information belonging to you, including the processing (including collection, use, disclosure, possession or transfer) of information based on the terms of this Policy.
  2. The information that the Company holds about you may be kept and processed by computer files and/or in written documents.
  3. For your information, you are not required by law to provide personal information, but some of the services offered on the site or App require the provision of such information. Accordingly, you acknowledge that failure to provide certain information may prevent the Company from being able to provide you with the requested services.
  4. This Privacy Policy does not obligate the Company to collect and retain information, and the Company shall be entitled at its discretion to delete or refrain from collecting and retaining any information.

      • Photos, video collected using security cameras located on the buses.
      • Information about services you have received from the Company or that you have been interested in receiving from the Company, including details of the bus lines on which you usually travel.
      • Demographic data (age, gender, home address, etc.);
      • Additional information that you choose to provide.
    2. Information collected by technical/computerized means – including:
      • Cookies – and similar technologies : parts of information stored on your computer and related to information about you. Some cookies will be deleted when you finish browsing the browser and some are stored on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device, allowing the Website or App to identify your device on future visits. Due to this, the Website or App contains cookies and other local files. The Company may use cookies or a configuration file, which is stored in the browser or on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device to obtain information about your internet usage in general. Cookies and other files contain information that is transferred to your computer and/or the hard drive of your mobile device. They help the Company improve the site or App and provide improved and personalized service. They also enable the Company to prevent fraud and/or abuse. The legal basis for processing the information contained in cookies and other files consists of your agreement to the terms of use of the Website or App, including the Privacy Policy subject to this document and/or the Company’s legitimate interests in enabling efficient, convenient and safe use of its Website or App. You can block automatic cookie creation in whole or in part by enabling certain browser settings, but if you choose too strict settings, you may not have access to certain parts of the Website or App.
      • Log files, including referrer pages/exit pages, addresses, IP information about browsers, cookies, Internet service providers (ISP), types of platforms, date/time stamps. This information is not linked to additional information that is reasonably personally identifiable. The Company uses this information to manage the site or App and diagnose server problems, analyze trends and track user traffic in an aggregate manner, including for statistical purposes.
      • Geographical Data and Location Information:the Company collects your geographical location data, real-time location data, and travel routes through systems and/or software that support the operation of the application/website. This includes technical data collected by the application/website, such as GPS signals and signals from other sensors on your device. This information is collected in order to provide you with services, including route planning, travel history, and optimization of the services provided by the Company.

        Please note: Geographical data is collected only after you have approved the use of GPS data on the mobile device on which the application is installed. In order to personalize the service for you and to improve the service and enhance the user experience, the application will collect data about your location in the background, even when you are not using the application. You can disable data collection by changing the settings.

    1. Use of Google Analytics
      • We use a tool called Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistical data about how you use our website. This data includes, for example, how many times you have visited the site, which pages you have viewed, and which other websites you have visited before coming to ours. We use this information to improve our website and services.
      • It is important to note that we do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information.

    2. Use of AppsFlyer
      • We use a tool called AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution and marketing analytics platform, to better understand how you use our services. AppsFlyer collects certain information, including:
      • Identifying information and technical data: IP address, IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) or Android ID (on Android devices).
      • Information about app usage: unsubscribe requests, Google Advertiser ID, device traffic parameters, mobile carrier, app traffic and browsing, device data and operating system type.
      • We use this information to analyze the performance of our app and your usage patterns.

    3. We reserve the right to use additional analytical tools.
  1. The Company will use your personal information, among other things, for the purpose for which you voluntarily provided it (for example, when contacting the Company). In addition, the Company may also use your personal information for other purposes, including:

a.     To operate the Site and to respond to your inquiries, resolve potential issues you may encounter while using the Site, and for other legitimate business purposes;

b.     To improve the Company’s services;

c.     For the ongoing review, improvement, and development of the Site and the Company’s services;

d.     To comply with, and to assess compliance with, applicable laws, rules, regulations, court orders, and internal policies and procedures;

e.     To enforce and/or protect the rights, property, and/or legal or other interests of the Company and/or third parties, and to protect the safety of the Site’s users and/or any other person and/or entity connected to the Company;

f.      To defend against legal claims, demands, and/or other legal proceedings;

g.     For data and statistical analysis, and for compliance with the law as well as the investigation of complaints, suspected fraud, or other misconduct.

Without derogating from the generality of the aforesaid, it is hereby clarified that in accordance with the agreements signed between the Company and the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety, the Company has various obligations related to the information provided by you, including its retention, its use, and the right of the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety to access and/or review such information.
  2. You are aware that the Company may be required by law to disclose information that you provided when using the Site.

Direct mailing

  1. In addition, and as part of the services offered on the Site, you may register to receive updates on the Company’s services and products, including advertising information and marketing content, in a format approved by you. When registering to receive such updates, you will be asked for your consent to the retention of the information regarding the contact details you provided and your preferences in relation to the updates, as well as to the sending of such updates by the Company directly and/or by direct mail service providers (including Activetrail). The provisions of Article B of Chapter B of the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, will apply to the sending of these updates, including that you request at any time that we stop sending you such updates and remove you from the direct mailing list.
  2. In addition, The Company may also share your personal information with third parties, including, among others, as detailed below:

a. For the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy;

b. Where the Company has obtained your consent to disclose your personal information, whether expressly or implicitly;

c. Where the Company believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the interests of the Company or a third party in matters relating to national security, law enforcement, litigation, criminal investigation, protection of the safety of any person, or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm, provided that the Company considers such interest not to be overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms;

d. Where the Company may disclose information about individuals who threaten and/or may harm the Company and its services (including, without limitation, user fraud, threats, or the distribution of spam);

e. In cooperation with suppliers and service providers in the course of the Company’s ongoing operations;

f. Where disclosure of the information is required by law and/or in the course of legal proceedings and/or in connection with reporting obligations to a competent authority;

g. In any dispute, claim, demand, or legal proceedings, if any, between you and the Company and/or anyone acting on its behalf;

h. In the event that the Company transfers, in any form, its operations (or any part thereof) to a third party, merges with another third party, or seeks investment from a third party, provided that such third party undertakes to be bound by the provisions of this section;

i. For the distribution of surveys, advertising, and/or content.

  1. In addition, the Company reserves the right to share personal information with the Afifi Group companies, which includes, among others, the Company, Nazareth Tours Ltd., and Epsilon Delta Ltd., as well as any companies that may become part of this group in the future.

All entities to whom such information is transferred shall not be permitted to share or use personally identifiable information for any purpose other than on behalf of the Company or for the operation of the Site.

  1. From time to time, the Company may share aggregated information with its service providers. This information does not contain personally identifiable information by reasonable means and is used for the development of programs and content that may be of interest to visitors to the Site

Information security

  1. The Company takes reasonable steps, as is customary and as required by law, to assist in the protection of your information . The Company will act in accordance with applicable law in the event of any breach of the security, confidentiality or integrity of your personal information, and if it deems fit or if required by applicable law, a notice will be given to you or posted on the Site, as soon as possible and without unreasonable delay, to the extent that it is consistent with (1) legitimate law enforcement needs or (2) the need to determine the scope of the violation and disable it and return it to its perfect base in the information system.

The Company restricts access to your personal information to persons who need such access in order to process it for the Company or to perform specific work on its behalf (such as a customer service representative), these individuals will be subject to non-disclosure agreements. However, it should be taken into account that no means and/or service is absolutely safe, especially when the activity is online.

The Company reviews its procedures for collecting, storing and processing information to ensure that only the personal information necessary to operate or improve the Website or App is collected, stored and processed. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the personal information processed is accurate, complete and up to date, but the Company depends on users of the site or App to update or correct their personal information at any time.

18.  The Company makes efforts it deems reasonable to prevent unauthorized data scraping from the Site and the App. You acknowledge the risk of data scraping on the Internet and agree to use the services with an awareness of this risk. The right to receive information and request access to the personal information that the Company processes about you;

19.  Subject to applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information:

·      The right to review the personal information that the Company processes about you, in accordance with Section 13 of the Privacy Protection Law;

·      The right to request that the Company cease processing all or part of your personal information, either temporarily or permanently;

·      The right to object to the processing of your personal information for reasons related to your particular situation, or to object to the processing of your personal information for marketing purposes;

·      The right to request that the Company delete your personal information;

·      The right to request that the Company correct or update your personal information if you find it to be inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, in accordance with Section 14 of the Privacy Protection Law;

·      Any other right provided under the Privacy Protection Law and the regulations enacted.

Transfer of Information Outside of Israel

  1. The Company may transfer your personal information outside the jurisdiction of Israel and/or the European Union. The privacy and data protection laws in the jurisdiction to which the information is transferred may not be as comprehensive as those in force in Israel or the European Union. In such cases, the Company will endeavor to take steps to ensure a comparable level of protection for your personal information. By providing your personal information to the Company in accordance with this Privacy Policy, users of the Site consent to this Privacy Policy and to the collection and processing of such personal information abroad.

  1. The Company regularly monitors its compliance with the provisions of this Policy. Questions, inquiries, or complaints regarding the matters addressed in this document may also be directed to the Company through the contact methods detailed below.

  4. By providing personal information to the Company in accordance with this Privacy Policy, users of the Site, including, but not limited to, users from Israel and abroad understand and express their explicit consent to this Privacy Policy and to the collection and processing of such personal information abroad.
