Privacy Policy

Nazareth Transport & Tourism (NT&T) Ltd. (hereinafter: the “Company”) makes great efforts to protect your information and acts in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, and the regulations thereunder.

The purpose of the Privacy Policy document is to explain to users of the Company’s website (hereinafter: the “Site”) the terms that will apply to the provision and use of personal information through the Website, what is the basis for processing any personal information collected from you through your browsing on our Website, for what purpose the information will be used, the manner of disclosing the information provided by you to third parties and the use of “cookies” or files or tags on the Website, all as set forth in the following terms:

  1. Your use of the Website by registering, browsing, or accessing the Website constitutes your confirmation that you have read the Privacy Policy and the Company’s procedures set forth therein, and that you agree that the Company will use information belonging to you, including the processing (including collection, use, disclosure, possession or transfer) of information based on the terms of this Policy.
  2. The information that the Company holds about you may be kept and processed by computer files and/or in written documents.
  3. For your information, you are not required by law to provide personal information, but some of the services offered on the Site require the provision of such information.
  4. This Privacy Policy does not obligate the Company to collect and retain information, and the Company shall be entitled at its discretion to delete or refrain from collecting and retaining any information.

Information proactively provided – information provided to the Company on your own initiative during your use of the Website and/or as part of contacting the Company in another manner and/or as part of receiving services from the Company.       • Photos, video collected using security cameras located on the buses.
      • Information about services you have received from the Company or that you have been interested in receiving from the Company, including details of the bus lines on which you usually travel.
      • Demographic data (age, gender, home address, etc.);
    2. Information collected by technical/computerized means – including:
      • Cookies – parts of information stored on your computer and related to information about you. Some cookies will be deleted when you finish browsing the browser and some are stored on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device, allowing the Website to identify your device on future visits. Due to this, the Website contains cookies and other local files. The Company may use cookies or a configuration file, which is stored in the browser or on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device to obtain information about your internet usage in general. Cookies and other files contain information that is transferred to your computer and/or the hard drive of your mobile device. They help the company improve the Site and provide improved and personalized service. They also enable the company to prevent fraud and/or abuse.
        The legal basis for processing the information contained in cookies and other files consists of your agreement to the terms of use of the Website, including the Privacy Policy subject to this document and/or the Company’s legitimate interests in enabling efficient, convenient and safe use of its Website.
        You can block automatic cookie creation in whole or in part by enabling certain browser settings, but if you choose too strict settings, you may not have access to certain parts of the Website.
      • Log files, including referrer pages/exit pages, addresses, IP information about browsers, cookies, Internet service providers (ISP), types of platforms, date/time stamps. This information is not linked to additional information that is reasonably personally identifiable. The Company uses this information to manage the Site and diagnose server problems, analyze trends and track user traffic in an aggregate manner, including for statistical purposes.
  1. The Company will only use your personal information for the purpose for which you provided the information on your own initiative (e.g., contacting the Company). In addition, the Company may also use the information for the purpose of analyzing data and statistics and for the purpose of complying with the law and investigating complaints, suspected fraud, or misconduct.
  2. Without derogating from the generality of the aforesaid, it is hereby clarified that in accordance with the agreements signed between the Company and the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety, the Company has various obligations related to the information provided by you, including its retention, its use, and the right of the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety to access and/or review such information.
  3. You are aware that the Company may be required by law to disclose information that you provided when using the Site.
  4. In addition, and as part of the services offered on the Site, you may register to receive updates on the Company’s services and products, including advertising information and marketing content, in a format approved by you. When registering to receive such updates, you will be asked for your consent to the retention of the information regarding the contact details you provided and your preferences in relation to the updates, as well as to the sending of such updates by the Company directly and/or by direct mail service providers (including Activetrail). The provisions of Article B of Chapter B of the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, will apply to the sending of these updates, including that you request at any time that we stop sending you such updates and remove you from the direct mailing list.
  5. In addition, the Company may share your personal information in the event that the Company believes in good faith that it is necessary to safeguard the interest of the Company or a third party, relating to national security, law enforcement, litigation, criminal investigation, protection of the safety of any person or to prevent imminent death or physical harm, provided that the Company believes that such interest is not void in relation to your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
  6. In addition, the Company may disclose information about people who threaten and/or may harm the Company and its services (such as: fraud by users, sending threats, spreading spam, etc.).
  7. The Company may share your information with service providers and subcontractors who work with us and/or who provide certain services on our behalf in Israel and abroad, as required for the operation, maintenance and improvement of the Site. In addition, the Company may store information in cloud services whose servers are located outside of Israel, in countries where there may be different levels of privacy protection, all subject to the law. All parties to whom such information will be transferred will not be entitled to share or use personally identifiable information other than for the Company or for the purpose of operating the Site.
  8. In addition, the Company may employ trusted third parties to assist in the distribution of surveys, advertising and/or content. After completing these projects, the company will demand and ensure that all information is returned to it.
  9. Sometimes the company shares aggregated information with its service providers. This information does not contain personally identifiable information by reasonable means and is used to develop programs and content that may be of interest to Site visitors.
  10. The Company takes reasonable steps, as is customary and as required by law, to assist in the protection of your information . The Company will act in accordance with applicable law in the event of any breach of the security, confidentiality or integrity of your personal information, and if it deems fit or if required by applicable law, a notice will be given to you or posted on the Site, as soon as possible and without unreasonable delay, to the extent that it is consistent with (1) legitimate law enforcement needs or (2) the need to determine the scope of the violation and disable it and return it to its perfect base in the information system.

The Company restricts access to your personal information to persons who need such access in order to process it for the Company or to perform specific work on its behalf (such as a customer service representative), these individuals will be subject to non-disclosure agreements. However, it should be taken into account that no means and/or service is absolutely safe, especially when the activity is online.

The Company reviews its procedures for collecting, storing and processing information to ensure that only the personal information necessary to operate or improve the Website is collected, stored and processed. Reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the personal information processed is accurate, complete and up to date, but the Company depends on users of the Site to update or correct their personal information at any time.

    • The right to request that the Company delete your personal information;

    • Any other right prescribed in the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, and in the regulations promulgated pursuant thereto.
  15. The Company regularly audits its compliance with the provisions of this policy. In addition, questions, inquiries, or complaints may be directed to the Company, in relation to the issues contained in this document in the ways specified below.
  16. The Company’s services are not directed to minors and the Company does not knowingly collect personal information about them. Users under the age of 18 are required to obtain parental or guardian consent to provide the information. If the Company becomes aware, by contacting the Company or otherwise, that a minor has provided personally identifiable information on the Site, the Company will make a reasonable effort to delete such information.
  17. Use of the Site may involve registration and/or provision of data. The Company undertakes to act in accordance with the provisions of the law, including maintaining the User’s privacy, and not transferring the User’s personal information to third parties without obtaining consent.
